A Date With Elvis -
My first LP
How can I describe
What he did to me?

A gift from an aunt
Who didn’t know
She’d started something
That would grow and grow.

I’d never heard tell
Of him before
But from that day on
I heard more and more.

Such a handsome face
With smiling eyes
And that glorious voice
Makes we weak inside.

Although I’m now sure
That’s he the best
A few years ago –
He didn’t exist!

Thank you, Elvis,
With all my heart
And I promise you
That we’ll never part.

For giving me

Which will always be
