The barnyard was practically forgotten until recently. However, it can still be a very active place.
The old house up on the hill doesn't look like much from the outside, but the lights indicate that someone - or something - still lives there.
Might be worth checking out. Hmm, that could be where the pumpkin is heading.
There doesn't appear to be much sign of life in the barn itself, but one never knows, especially here at Hawke's Hill where all sorts of beings dwell in strange places.
A barn lying empty for years could attract just about anything.
I remember when this old barn was the scene of many hoedowns and harvest dances. What fun it used to be.
But that was centuries ago. Time moves on and things change. Still, it's nice to reminisce.
On second thought, maybe we should go in, you know, just to see what it's like inside after all this time.
A lone headstone is always intriguing, don't you think? Especially when it's kind of hidden away out in a barnyard.
I mean, it's not unheard of but you have to admit it's a bit unusual - a headstone in a barnyard.
People buried farm animals, horses and such, but I don't think they put up headstones to mark the burial places. Oh well...
Or do we follow the sign? The one with the skull. I don't like the way its eyes are flashing, but...
Then again, what do you do with a gate that's marked 'Do Not Enter'? Do you obey the sign?
Or does it make you even more curious to find out what's on the other side?
Just remember, it's not always safe to go poking your nose into strange and unknown places.
On the other hand, sometimes there are interesting discoveries to be made... I mean, just look at that poor, sad old tree over there.
Why do you think it's so sad? I wonder what secret it's hiding...
