William Walter, planter in Trinity, husband to Sarah, was buried on 11 March 1772, aged 56 years, born circa 1716.
At the time of Sarah's marriage, her mother was listed as a Planter in Trinity.
When William died, his widow was left with five children between the ages of three and fifteen to support,
so it is assumed that she took over and carried on her husband's fishing business.
