Sharing Heaven With the King
Dressed in a suit of black leather
Looking as handsome as ever
Elvis came out on the stage that night;
And I felt the same old magic
I always got from his music
And my heart soared like an eagle in flight.
And then when he started singing
Once again his hips were swinging
I was transported back in time;
And his voice touched and caressed me
And I found it very easy
Once more to give him this heart of mine.
Now his smile was warm and charming
As my heart he was disarming
It felt so good to have him back again;
For there can be no sweeter thing
Than sharing heaven with the King
The King of rock ‘n’ roll will always reign.
