Beauty and the Beast

Love Giveth Not

(Vincent's Sonnet)

Love giveth not a palace grand
With marble halls and chandeliers,
But gives a heart ó into the hand
Of one whoíll always hold it dear.
Love giveth not with selfish thought
Of earthly gain; for loveís a gift --
And love thatís true can not be bought
Yet without love the heartís bereft.

Love giveth not false promises
Of roads ahead without a care;
But love can bring great happiness
And joy untold when it is shared.
Love giveth not which eyes can see
Yet giveth much to you and me.

Vincent read a lot of classic poetry and this seemed to fit his style.
